When the COVID-19 crisis erupted in late 2019, the world faced chaos reminiscent of the great 1918 Spanish Flu pandemic.
As we can remember, the World Health Organization and governments worldwide acted in concert, declaring the virus's rapid airborne transmission levels to be unprecedented, but because no solution was available that could instantly kill airborne SARS-CoV-2 viruses, they implemented extremely strict measures like mask-wearing, social distancing, and lockdowns in an attempt to mitigate the effects of this new virus.
These measures, however also dangerously disrupted economies and the lives of billions of people—ultimately leading (as we now know) to still more deaths due to decreased health levels (e.g., from being locked indoors) and increases in worldwide poverty caused by the "locking down" of economies.
Now cutting out parts of this recent history tragedy, amid this terrible global upheaval, Gamma Pulse’s internal team of British and French scientists and engineers (PhDs and researchers in a totally different sector: Remote Gamma Ray Detection of Chemicals), dared to think that they could find a way to INSTANTLY STERILIZE AIR (thus instantly killing viruses)—a feat deemed impossible by experts worldwide, thought akin to science fiction.
However, despite the odds, and driven by a sense of social duty and scientific curiosity, working hard, in two months succeeded in conceptualizing and patenting a unique revolutionary type of solution - able to kill instantly and 100% all viruses! Including as was found out after, also able to kill spores, many times found to be more hardy and difficult to kill than virsues.
How is this new technology able to achieve this result?
The Science behind KillViD™
The fast virus-killing invention combines the principles of plasma physics and pulsed power science to create a groundbreaking Cold Plasma Reactor.
This new type of process/device generates highly energetic fields with unique chemo-physical characteristics capable of INSTANTLY disrupting the outer protective membrane of viral particles (and the related infected cells), effectively neutralizing them.
Cold Plasmas (partially ionized gases at near-room temperature), have been shown to inactivate various pathogens by causing damage to their cell membranes and internal structures - however without never proving 100% instant decativation. (This criteria, 100% and INSTANT is critical for safety).
This new type of Cold Plasma Reactor (Ultra High Electric Pulsed Field - Atmospheric Pressure Cold Plasma) utilizes unique microbe inactivation properties by producing reactive oxygen species (ROS), ions, and UV photons, which simultaneously and synergistically attack the virus's lipid envelope and protein capsid, leading to its rapid inactivation.
Moreover, the technology incorporates the principles of electroporation, where the generated electric fields immediately increase the permeability of viral membranes, further enhancing the total and instant disruption of viral replication properties. (A virus that cannot replicate, is by medical definition, harmless, not anymore a virus.)
A few months after internal testing, the technology was definitively proven at INSERM’s French government laboratories.
This combined effect of electroporation and reactive species generation has shown to GUARANTEE the immediate inactivation of airborne viruses - No other technology can do this!
